Pioneer holiday fare -- The Daughters of the Utah Pioneers are hosting their third annual Pioneer Christmas on Dec. 4 at 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Hutchings Museum, 55 N. Center St. Tickets, although free, are required for entry to the event and are available at the museum. Tickets are limited and those wishing to attend are encouraged to get their tickets as soon as possible. The DUP members sponsor as old-fashioned Christmas with holiday stories, crafts, refreshments and caroling and more.
Green Eggs and Ham -- The Rippy Family Literacy Center volunteers and staff have scheduled the third annual Green Eggs and Ham fundraiser for Jan. 15 at the Lehi Legacy Center.
There will be a silent auction, several activities, animal balloons, hats, raffles, stickers and temporary tattoos, photos with the reigning Mrs. Utah and of course, green eggs and ham cooked and served up by the Lehi City Council and Mayor Howard Johnson. Tickets will be $20 per family (six person maximum), $4 per person or $2 for a child's plate for ages 3 and under.
